Welcome to our comprehensive 7-week photography workshop designed to help you make the leap from using your DSLR camera in auto mode to mastering professional settings. Join us for an enriching learning experience that includes 4 weeks of class, 2 weeks of insightful guest speakers and a hands-on field trip.

Workshop Schedule:

Feb. 13th – Introduction to Photography

  • Explore the basics of photography and get to know your DSLR. Learn about essential camera functions and settings.

Feb. 20th – Cleburne Camera Club

  • Connect with fellow photography enthusiasts from the Cleburne Camera Club. Share experiences, tips, and insights in a collaborative environment.

Feb. 27th – Understanding Light and Exposure

  • Delve into the fundamental concepts of light and exposure. Understand how to manipulate these elements to capture stunning photographs.

Mar. 5th – Cleburne Camera Club Field Trip

  • Apply your knowledge in a real-world setting during a field trip with the Cleburne Camera Club. Gain hands-on experience and receive valuable feedback.

Mar. 12th – Composition and Creativity

  • Learn the art of composition and unleash your creativity. Understand how to frame your shots for maximum impact.

Mar. 19th – Cleburne Camera Club

  • Engage with the Cleburne Camera Club once again, sharing your progress and learning from others.

Mar. 26th – Final Review and Post-Processing

  • Wrap up the workshop by reviewing your work and exploring post-processing techniques to enhance your photos.
