Hand Building Pottery
Shape your creativity with hands-on pottery experiences!
An inviting space where everyone can embrace their clay journey and cultivate new hand building techniques. Whether you are a novice or need to freshen up your skills, our six week pottery sessions are a great opportunity to explore the mess, joy and challenges of working with clay.
The six week class will focus on making four pieces and glazing those items. It’s surprising how much time it takes to make piece of pottery once you get your hands into the clay. You will learn how to roll out slabs of clay by hand, apply texture to the surface of the clay, embellish your work, make and apply coil handles, use slump and hump molds, and glaze your work.

Workshops
Garden Series Workshop – Sun Face
Thursday June 6, 13 & 27
6pm – 9pm
A Garden Series Workshop for any skill level. No clay experience is necessary. Nerrissa will walk you through each step of the process so you can create a sun face for your garden, yard, door, or wall.
This three week workshop includes all the materials needed to complete your sun decor. Limited spaces available, so register soon.
Fathers Day Workshop
Saturday June 8
4pm – 6pm
Ages 6 to 14
Kids will enjoy this messy, but fun glaze painting experience. Who doesn’t love splattering paint to create an interesting design? Each child will receive a blank cup to paint with underglazes to create a one-of-a-kind Father’s Day cup. It will get messy, so make sure your kiddos are wearing clothes and shoes that can get dirty. Limited seating, so sign up soon!
Kids Clay Camps
School is out and pottery is in! Let your little ones learn something new this summer in these kid-friendly pottery and glazing camps. We will stimulate your child’s imagination through playing, creating, and exploring with clay. These camps provide a space to express and discover their artistic capabilities through guided projects.
The first week we will build a project and the next week we will paint it. After the project is painted it will be fired in the kiln and ready for pick up the following week.
