Gelli Printing
This hands-on class is perfect for both beginners and seasoned artists ages 13 and up.
During this engaging workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of Gelli printing, a gelatin-based printmaking technique that produces stunning, one-of-a-kind prints. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process while providing valuable tips and techniques to help you be successful.
You will get to experiment with layers and stencils, textures and mark-making, and image transfers. Relax, have fun and enjoy the endless possibilities Gelli printing has to offer.
The following items will be provided to use during your class:
Gelli Plate, Brayers, Paint, Scissors, Pens, Magazines, stencils, stamps, a variety of textured items, 3 cards and envelopes, 20 pieces of mixed media paper, 20 pieces of copy paper, 3 sheets of Newsprint, paper scraps, Wipes.
You will leave the workshop with:
- A collection of personalized prints from the papers listed above that reflect your individual style
- 3 handmade cards and envelopes
*All materials will be provided, but if you wish to explore with additional materials feel free to bring more papers, stencils, envelopes, note cards, magazine images or Laser printed images.
